Shooting Streak Dashboard Update

I updated the shooting streak dashboard with the 2023-2024 season data.

1 – Shooting time in seconds behind field average

Highlights

Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold had the longest streak of the season, with 106 prone shots in a row without a miss. The streak went from 12 December 2023 until 2 March 2024 spread over 13 races. During the streak she went clean on 19 consecutive prone shootings, and had 11 races in a row without a miss in prone.

We also saw Justus Strelow‘s streak of 134 prone shots come to an end, and Dmitrii Shamaev had a streak of 103 prone hits this season, on top of the 9 prone hits he ended with last season (total streak 109!).

Simon Eder had a “bad” year by his own standards. None of his streaks that started in the 2023-2024 season made it on the chart, which shows only streaks of 43 consecutive hits and more.

A twenty-one year old from Slovakia joined the World Cup with a bang! Ema Kapustova participated in seven non-team events during her first season on the World Cup. The last four of those, two sprints and two pursuits, she shot all clean. Her 65 shot streak will also continue into the next season.

German top-shooter Vanessa Voigt even had two streaks during the season in which she shot 62 and 57 shots (prone and standing combined) in a row without missing.

Anton Dudchenko from Ukraine had an incredible streak hitting 55 shots in a row in standing position. This included six consecutive races where he shot clean in standing, including his four races at the World Championships in Nova Mesto!

And last but not least, fellow Canadian Benita Peiffer shot 43 hits in a row for prone and standing combined, and 59 consecutive prone hits.
