Although it is fair to say that the top Nations in biathlon are pretty clear, I wanted to look a little deeper and see which Nations were strong in the last five seasons, which ones have been getting stronger, and what ‘smaller’ Nations have been looking upward. The analysis is published as an interactive workbook on Tableau Public, so that you can select your Nation(s) of preference, and print it or save it as a PDF. To avoid the duplication of many hours of work, I chose to share the analysis as images below, rather than type it all out again in this blog environment. Despite trying to keep this analysis as easy to read as possible, and providing textual explanations, the document will take some time to go through.
